Maps - MapQuest See also: Worthington Historical Society The Orange Johnson House was built in 1811 and expanded in 1819. It is now a museum belonging to the Worthington Historical Society. The front portion built in 1819 is a elegant example of Federal style architecture with a lovely arched fan light entry and spacious rooms. The back portion of the house is a charming 1811 pioneer structure with a keeping room and working fireplace which is used on special occasions for fireplace cooking demonstrations. The house is furnished with period furniture, some of which have a connection to early Worthington families and activities.
